Fish n Frolics Open Angling Event 2026

 The 2026 competition will take place on Friday 17th July - Sunday 19th July 2026. 

​To reserve your place on any of the 3 days please complete the form below and submit ideally before  Sunday 12th July 2026. This year will be a blind draw to make it more interesting but we will accommodate anglers car sharing to venues where we can. 
Anglers will be allocated to groups before the competition so they can organise suitable bait etc.
2025 saw 30 in the Ultimate Angler Competition   
Our event seems to be increasingly popular every year so best to book in early!
2026 will have a maximum of 40 pegs

 Breakfast from 7am 
​Breakfasts will be available from a mobile catering unit onsite at the Sports Club. 
 The peg draw each day at  8am at the Sports Club
3 groups fishing - 3 venue rotation
Martin at Stratford will stay open late on Thursday for your bait requirements
Fishing competition is 5 hours in length. Starts at approx 10am at the fishing venue until around 3pm each day.
( MO may adjust this)

Match Fee is £50 for 3 days 

Winner will be on points, 'weigh back' in the event of a tie, least points over the 3 days becomes the 'The Ultimate Angler 2024'
​Camping available at the Sports Club - sorry no dogs allowed
​Bar available at the Sports Club 
​Don't forget to bring some cash for breakfast, 50/50, raffle, winner takes all and beer!
